Oceania,in contrast,is estimated to experience the least land loss, at only 10 thousand km².

Americacomes nextwith 73 million people affected,in contrast toits second-place position for land loss.Conversely,despitea moderate level of land loss, merely 10 million people in Europe are predicted to be affected. This figure is five times as large as that in Oceania, whichremains the least affected region
